Concurso LIP SYNC

For this assignment you are required to do the following:

Have you seen Jimmy Fallon’s lip-sync challenges?

This event works best with a friend, and even better with a group of friends. The point is to give an amazing lip-sync performance to a song in Spanish.

In Jimmy Fallon’s competitions there are three rounds, and each competitor lip-syncs to a clip of a different song each round—but we will choose 1 min clip.

Before you can hold the actual challenge, you’re gonna have to practice and memorize the lyrics. It’ll really help if you know what your song is all about beforehand.

Then, after you’ve become familiar with the lyrics, a few rounds of a karaoke VM will help.

Next, practice singing along to a performance by the artist. Watch their mouth. Notice how in Spanish, you open your mouth much wider than you do in English. When you can sing the song(s) forwards and backwards, and know how to make your face expressive enough to win, you’re ready to give your performance of the year.

“Recuérdame” by La Quinta Estación

“Volverá” by El Canto del Loco (for some intense facial expressions)

Limón y sal by Julieta Venegas

“Ni una sola palabra” by Paulina Rubio

“Esclavo de tus besos” by David Bisbal

“Danza Kuduro” by Don Omar featuring Lucenzo (to get everyone dancing with a catchy dance hit!)

And if you want to win hands down, impress your classmates with a verse or chorus from a word-packed song like Calle 13’s “Adentro.”

2 After knowing the lyrics, record it with your friends or alone with the webcam, phone or camera.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Lips should be clearly recorded in the video.

• It must be a Spanish song.

• Minimum length of the video should be 1 min.

3 Finally, send your VM to this email 2915047678@qq.com, make sure you specify your name and class group. There will be a first selection process to decide the 10 best VM based on the compositions. The final LIP SYNC 2015 VM WINNER will be decision of the SAIE students of Spanish 2015.
